Selecting network mode for my router
You can select which network modes your router can use, eg. 3G or GSM. Your choice determines the data speeds you can achieve. Remember, you need to end the internet connection before you can use this function.

1. Turn on your router
Tap On/Off to turn on your router.
2. Establish connection to Wi-Fi Hotspot
Do the following in Windows:
Click the network icon.
Click the network icon.
Highlight the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Connect.
You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot on the back of your router.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click OK.
A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.

3. Establish a connection to the router web interface
Open a browser.
Key in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and tap Enter.
Highlight the field next to "User name" and key in admin

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.
Please note:
If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.

Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in admin
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service.

Click Login.

If you're asked to key in your PIN:
Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your PIN (default is 0000).

Click Submit.

4. Find "Advanced"
Click Internet.
Click Internet Connection.
Click Advanced.
5. Select network mode
Click the drop down list next to "Network mode".
Highlight the required setting and tap Submit.
6. Exit
Click Logout.
Click OK to confirm.
