I can't establish a wireless connection to my router

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 2:

Wrong password on your computer: If you've forgotten your password, you can establish a connection using your new password.

1. 1. Turn on your router

Tap On/Off to turn on your router.

2. 2. Establish connection to Wi-Fi Hotspot

Do the following in Mac OS X:
Click the Wi-Fi icon.
Click the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot on the back of your router.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Join.
A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.

3. 3. Establish a connection to the router web interface

Open a browser.
Key in in the address bar and tap Enter.
Highlight the field next to "User name" and key in admin
Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in admin
Click Login.
If you're asked to key in your PIN:
Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your PIN (default is 0000).
Click Submit.

4. 4. Find "Internet Connection"

Click Internet.
Click Internet Connection.

5. 5. Establish a connection to the internet

Click Connect.
A connection to the internet is established.
