Changing name and password for my Wi-Fi Hotspot
Want to change name and password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot? Follow these easy instructions.
Tap On/Off to turn on your router.
Do the following in Mac OS X:
Click the Wi-Fi icon.
Click the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
You can see the name and password for your Wi-Fi hotspot on the back of your router.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Join.
A connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot is established.
Open a browser.
Key in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and tap Enter.
Highlight the field next to "User name" and key in admin
Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in admin
Click Login.
If you're asked to key in your PIN:
Highlight the field next to "PIN" and key in your PIN (default is 0000).
Click Submit.
Click WiFi.
Highlight the field next to "Wifi network name (SSID)" and key in the required name for your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in the required password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Click Submit.
Click Logout.
Click OK to confirm.
