How to
Turn use of phone lock code on or off
The phone lock code prevents others from accessing the contents of your mobile phone (pictures, messages etc.). When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be used every time you turn on your mobile phone and when it has been in sleep mode.
List view
Find "Screen lock"
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap General.
Tap Safety and Privacy.
Tap Screen lock.
Create phone lock code using a pattern
Tap Pattern password.
Slide your finger across the screen to connect at least four points and tap Continue.
Repeat the selected phone lock code and tap OK.
Turn off use of phone lock code
Tap Screen lock.
Tap No lockscreen.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap General.
Tap Safety and Privacy.
Tap Screen lock.
Tap Pattern password.
Slide your finger across the screen to connect at least four points and tap Continue.
Repeat the selected phone lock code and tap OK.
Tap Screen lock.
Tap No lockscreen.
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
