I can't send and receive email

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes
to help you find a solution to your problem.


Set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.

Possible cause 1:

Your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up for Exchange email

Solution:

Set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.

Find "Your email and accounts"
Slide your finger downwards on the screen.
Tap All settings.
Tap Accounts.
Tap Your email and accounts.
Create new email account
Tap Add an account.
Tap Exchange.
Enter email address
Tap the field below "Email address" and key in your email address.
Tap Next.
Enter password
Tap the field below "Password" and key in the password for your email account.
Tap Sign in.
Finish setup
Tap Yes.
Tap Close.
Tap Done.
Edit Exchange email setup
Tap the required email account.
Tap Manage.
Tap Change mailbox sync settings.
Select setting for email synchronisation
Tap the drop down list below "Download new content".
Tap the required setting.
Select period for email synchronisation
Tap the drop down list below "Download email from".
Tap the required setting.
Enter server address
Tap the field below "Server" and key in the server address.
Turn encryption of incoming email on or off
Tap Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection to turn the function on or off.
Finish setup
Tap Done.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
