Guide to keys and sockets on mobile phone
The list below shows you what the different keys and sockets on your mobile phone are used for.
Tap On/Off to turn your mobile phone on or off.
Tap On/Off to turn the screen lock on or off.


Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.


Tap the Return key to return to the previous screen.


Tap and hold the Return key to view a list of running applications.


Tap the Search key to search the internet or your mobile phone.


Tap and hold the Search key to start voice activation.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key to adjust the ring volume.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key during a call to adjust the volume.
Tap the upper or lower part of the Volume key to silence the incoming call alert.
Connect the charger or data cable to the socket and to a power point or your computer's USB port.
Connect the headset to the headset socket to listen to music or make a handsfree call.
Tap the Camera key to turn on the camera.
When the camera is turned on, tap the Camera key to take a picture.
Point the camera lens at the back of your mobile phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.
