I can't send and receive email
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes
to help you find a solution to your problem.
set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.
1. Slide your finger left on the display.Tap Settings.
2. Tap email+accounts.
3. Tap add an account.
4. Tap advanced setup.
5. Tap the field below Email address and key in your email address.
6. Tap the field below Password and key in the password for the server.
7. Tap next.
8. Tap Exchange ActiveSync.
9. Tap the field below Username and key in your username.
10. Tap the field below Domain and key in the domain name.
11. Tap the field below Server and key in the server name.
12. Tap Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection to turn SSL encryption on or off.
13. When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.
14. Tap the field below Account name and key in a name for the email account.
15. Tap the field below Download new content.
16. Tap the required period or manually.Please note: Each time the phone connects to the server to synchronise, data charges will apply.
17. Tap the field below Download email from.
18. Tap the required period or any time.
19. Tap Email, Contacts, Calendar and Tasks to turn synchronisation of each data type on or off.
20. When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), synchronisation for that data type is turned on.
21. Tap sign in.Wait a moment while your email account is activated.
22. Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
Possible cause 3:
Your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up for email
Solution:
set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.
Tap Settings.
Please note: Each time the phone connects to the server to synchronise, data charges will apply.
Wait a moment while your email account is activated.
