I can't use my mobile phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.
Possible cause 1:
The wrong password is entered on the device you want to connect from.: Enter the correct password.
List view
1. 1. Find "internet sharing"
Slide your finger left on the display.
Tap Settings.
Tap Settings.
Tap internet sharing.
2. 2. Turn on Wi-Fi Hotspot
Tap the indicator next to "Sharing" to turn on the function.
3. 3. Select settings for Wi-Fi Hotspot
Tap setup.
Tap the field below "Broadcast name" and key in the required name for the Wi-Fi Hotspot.
If you want to password protect your Hotspot:
Tap the field below "Password (minimum 8 characters)" and key in the required password.
Tap the field below "Password (minimum 8 characters)" and key in the required password.
Tap the confirm icon.
4. 4. Establish connection
Do the following on the device which is to connect to your Wi-Fi Hotspot:
Turn on Wi-Fi.
Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Select the network name you keyed in in step 3.
Key in the password you selected in step 3 and establish the connection to the Wi-Fi Hotspot.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.
Turn on Wi-Fi.
Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Select the network name you keyed in in step 3.
Key in the password you selected in step 3 and establish the connection to the Wi-Fi Hotspot.

5. 5. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
