The internet connection is intermittent

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 2:

The wireless connection to the modem Wi-Fi Hotspot is unstable: Change Wi-Fi Hotspot channel.

List view

1. View channel information

Click ADVANCED.
Click Administration.
Click Wireless Channel.
The channel information is displayed. If many devices are using the same channel, it may slow down the connection.

2. Change Wi-Fi Hotspot channel

Click Change Channel.
Click the drop down list next to "Channel".
Click the required channel.
Click Apply. You can now establish a connection to your Wi-Fi Hotspot using the new channel.
