How to
Turn use of phone lock code on or off
The phone lock code prevents others from accessing the contents of your mobile phone (pictures, messages etc.). When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be used every time you turn on your mobile phone and when it has been in sleep mode.
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Tap All settings.
Tap Personalisation.
Tap Lock screen.
Tap Sign-in options.
Tap Add.
Tap the field below "Password" and key in the password for your Microsoft account.
Tap save.
Tap New PIN and key in the required phone lock code.
Tap Confirm PIN and key in the phone lock code again.
Tap OK.
Tap Remove.
Tap Remove.
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
