How to

Turn GPS on or off

Your mobile phone can determine your geographical position using GPS (Global Positioning System). The information about your location can be used by a number of applications on your mobile phone such as navigation, the search function or weather forecast.


List view

Find "Location"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Tap All settings.
Tap Privacy.
Tap Location.

Turn GPS on or off

Tap the indicator below "Location" to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on the function, your mobile phone can find your position using GPS. If you turn off the function, you can't use any of the GPS functions on your mobile phone.
Tap the Home key.

Turn GPS navigation on or off

Slide your finger left starting form the right side of the screen.
Tap Maps.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap the drop down list below "Use location data to improve maps" to turn the function on or off.
Tap the required setting.
If you turn on the function, the map application can find your position using GPS.

Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
