I can't send and receive email
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.
Possible cause 3:
Your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up for email: set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.
List view
1. 1. Find "E-mail"
Tap the menu icon.
Tap E-mail.
2. 2. Create new email account
Tap Microsoft Exchange.
3. 3. Enter email address
Key in your email address.
4. 4. Enter password
Tap Password and key in the password for your email account.
Tap NEXT.
5. 5. Enter server address
Tap the field below "Server address" and key in the server address.
6. 6. Enter domain name
Tap Domain and key in the domain name.
7. 7. Enter port number
Tap the field below "Port number" and key in the port number.
8. 8. Enter username
Tap the field below "Username" and key in the username for your email account.
9. 9. Turn SSL encryption on or off
Tap Use secure connection (SSL) to turn the function on or off.
10. 10. Select client certificate
Tap Add and follow the instructions on the display to install the required certificate.
11. 11. Select data types for synchronisation
Tap NEXT.
Tap one of the following data types to turn synchronisation on or off:
E-mail
Contacts
Calendar
Tasks
12. 12. Select synchronisation setting
Tap Sync schedule.
Tap Push, Manual or the required period.
13. 13. Select period for synchronisation of email
Tap Email sync period.
Tap the required setting.
Tap NEXT.
14. 14. Enter account name
Key in the required name.
Tap DONE.
Tap DONE.
15. 15. Return to the home screen
Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
