I can't install an app

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 3:

You haven't activated a Google account on your mobile phone: Activate a Google account on your mobile phone.

1. 1. Find "Google"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap General.
Tap Accounts & sync.
Tap ADD ACCOUNT.
Tap Google.

2. 2. Activate Google account

Tap Enter your email and key in the username for your Google account.
Tap NEXT.
Key in the password for your Google account.
Tap NEXT.
Tap ACCEPT.
Follow the instructions on the display to select settings for your Google account.

3. 3. Return to the home screen

Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
