How to
Start using your router
Before you start using your router, you need to follow the instructions below.
List view
Insert SIM
Take hold of the SIM slot cover and remove it.
Orient the nano SIM to match the image near the slot.
Please note: your router only supports nano SIMs. If you’re using a newly provided SIM, push out the smallest SIM (white) from the SIM holder.
Slide the nano SIM into the SIM slot until it clicks into place.
Replace the SIM slot cover and press it into place.
Turn on your router
Turn the back of your router towards you.
Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a power point.
Turn the bottom of your router towards you.
Tap and hold On/Off to turn on your router.
Establishing a connection to the internet
Do the following on your computer: Click the network icon.
Click the name of your Wi-Fi Hotspot.
You'll find the Wi-Fi Hotspot name and password at the bottom of your router.
Click Connect.
Key in the password for your Wi-Fi Hotspot and click Next.
Start configuration of your router
Open an internet browser on your computer and go to 192.168.8.1
Key in the default password for the router web interface and click Log In.
You'll find the logon information at the bottom of your router.
Click Next.
Click Agree.
Select setting for update of router software
Click Continue.
Changing name and password for my Wi-Fi Hotspot
Follow the instructions on the screen to change name and password for your router's Wi-Fi Hotspot.
For security reasons, it's recommend you change your router's default password.
Click Next.
Enter new password for the router web interface
Follow the instructions on the screen to change password for your router's web interface.
For security reasons, it's recommend you change your router's default password.
Click Finish.
