How to
Turn use of PIN on or off
The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use if your router should get stolen. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your router. Remember, you need to establish a connection to the router web interface.
List view
Find "PIN Code Management"
Click Advanced.
Click System.
Click PIN Code Management.
Turn on use of PIN
Click the indicator next to "PIN Code Management" to turn on the function.
Click the field next to "PIN Code" and key in your PIN. The default PIN is 0000.
Click Save.
Turn off use of PIN
Click the indicator next to "PIN Code Management" to turn off the function.
Click the field next to "PIN Code" and key in your PIN. The default PIN is 0000.
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting Customer Service. Please note: If an incorrect PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM is blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM from Optus.
Click Save.
