How to
Setting up my mobile phone for Exchange email
Want to set up your mobile phone for Exchange email? It's easy, but remember you need to set up your mobile phone for internet before you can use this function.
List view
1. Open "Email"
Tap Email.
2. Create new email account
Tap Exchange.
If an email account has been created already, do the following instead:
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap Add account.
Tap Exchange.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap Add account.
Tap Exchange.
3. Enter email address
Key in your email address.
4. Enter domain name
Tap Domain and key in the domain name.
5. Enter username
Tap Username and key in your username.
6. Enter password
Tap Password and key in the password.
Tap Manual setup.
7. Enter server address
Tap the field below "Server" and key in the server address.
8. Enter port number
Tap the field below "Port" and key in the port number.
9. Turn SSL encryption on or off
Tap the drop down list below "Security type".
Tap None, SSL/TLS or SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates).
10. Select client certificate
Tap Select and follow the instructions on the display to install the required certificate.
The menu item is only available if you turned on SSL encryption in step 9.
Tap Next.

11. Select synchronisation setting
Tap the drop down list below "Inbox checking frequency".
Tap Automatic (Push), Never or the required interval.
12. Select period for synchronisation of email
Tap the drop down list below "Days to sync".
Tap the required setting.
13. Turn email notification on or off
Tap Notify me when email arrives to turn the function on or off.
14. Select data types for synchronisation
Tap the following data types to turn synchronisation on or off:
Sync contacts from this account
Sync contacts from this account
Sync calendar from this account
Sync email from this account
15. Turn automatic retrieval of attachments when connected to a Wi-Fi network on or off
Tap Automatically download attachments when connected to Wi-Fi to turn the function on or off.
Tap Next.
16. Enter account name
Key in the required name.
17. Finish setup
Tap Done.
18. Return to the home screen
Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
Key in your email address.
Key in the required name.
