Turning GPS on my mobile phone on or off
Want to turn GPS on or off? Follow these easy instructions.

1. Find "Location access"
Tap Settings.
Tap All.
Tap Location access.
2. Turn use of GPS position for apps on or off
Tap Access my location to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on use of GPS position for apps, you allow access to your GPS position.
If you turn on the function:
Tap Agree.
Tap Agree.
If you turn on use of GPS position for apps, you allow access to your GPS position.
3. Turn satellite-based GPS on or off
Tap GPS satellites to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on satellite-based GPS, your mobile phone can find your exact position. Satellite-based GPS requires a clear view of the sky.
4. Turn network-based GPS on or off
Tap Wireless networks to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on wireless networks, your mobile phone can find your approximate position using the network. This is useful if you don't have a GPS satellite fix.
If you turn on the function:
Tap Agree.

5. Turn retrieval of GPS data on or off
Tap Use Quick GPS to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on retrieval of GPS data, the positioning methods mentioned above are supplemented enabling your mobile phone to determine your position faster.

Tap Agree.

6. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
7. Find "Location"
Tap Google.
Tap Google Settings.
Tap Location.
8. Turn use of GPS position for Google apps on or off
Tap Access location to turn the function on or off.
Tap OK.
9. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
