Copying contacts between my SIM and my mobile phone
If you change SIM or mobile phone, you can copy your contacts between your mobile phone and SIM, as it saves you from keying in all the information again.
List view
1. Find "Manage contacts"
Tap the contact icon.
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Manage contacts.
2. Choose option
Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from your SIM to the phone memory, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from the phone memory to your SIM, go to 2b.
Copy contacts from your SIM to the phone memory, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from the phone memory to your SIM, go to 2b.
3. 2a - Copy contacts from your SIM to the phone memory
Tap Copy from SIM card.
Tap the field next to "All" until the function is turned on.
Tap COPY.
Tap Phone.
Wait a moment while the contacts are copied.
Wait a moment while the contacts are copied.
4. 2b - Copy contacts from the phone memory to your SIM
Tap Copy contacts.
Tap Phone.
Tap the field next to "All" until the function is turned on.
Tap COPY.
Tap SIM.
Tap OK.
Wait a moment while the contacts are copied.
Wait a moment while the contacts are copied.
5. Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from your SIM to the phone memory, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from the phone memory to your SIM, go to 2b.
