Setting up my mobile phone for Exchange email
Want to set up your mobile phone for Exchange email? It's easy, but remember you need to set up your mobile phone for internet before you can use this function.
List view
1. Find "Mail"
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Mail.
2. Create new email account
Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
If an email account has been created already, do the following instead:
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Add account.
Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap Add account.
Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
3. Enter email address
Key in your email address.
4. Enter password
Tap Password and key in the password.
Tap MANUAL SETUP.
5. Enter server address
Tap the field below "SERVER ADDRESS" and key in the server address.
6. Enter domain name
Tap the field below "DOMAIN" and key in the domain name.
7. Enter username
Tap the field below "USERNAME" and key in your username.
8. Turn SSL encryption on or off
Tap This server requires an encrypted SSL connection to turn the function on or off.
Tap NEXT.
9. Select data types for synchronisation
Tap the following data types to turn synchronisation on or off:
Mail
Contacts
Calendar
Tasks
10. Select period for synchronisation of email
Tap the required setting below "PEAK HOUR UPDATE SCHEDULE".
Tap NEXT.
11. Enter account name
Key in the required name.
12. Finish setup
Tap FINISH SETUP.
13. Return to the home screen
Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
