My mobile phone doesn't play a message tone when I receive a message

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 1:

The message tone has been turned off: Choose message tone.

List view

1. 1. Find "Notifications"

Tap the message icon.

Tap the menu icon.

Tap Settings.

Tap Notifications.

2. 2. Turn on notifications

Tap Received notification until the function is turned on.

3. 3. Turn on message tone

Tap Play notification sound until the function is turned on.

4. 4. Choose message tone

Tap Notification sound.

Tap the different message tones to listen to them.

Once you've found a message tone you like, tap APPLY.

5. 5. Return to the home screen

Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
