How to
Turn use of phone lock code on or off
The phone lock code prevents others from accessing the contents of your mobile phone (pictures, messages etc.). When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be used every time you turn on your mobile phone and when it has been in sleep mode.
List view
Find "Screen lock"
Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Security.
Tap Screen lock.
Create phone lock code using a pattern
Tap Pattern.
Slide your finger across the screen to connect at least four points and tap Next.
Repeat the selected phone lock code and tap Confirm.
Turn off use of phone lock code
Tap Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.
Tap None.
Tap Yes, remove.
Return to the home screen
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Security.
Tap Screen lock.
Tap Pattern.
Slide your finger across the screen to connect at least four points and tap Next.
Repeat the selected phone lock code and tap Confirm.
Tap Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.
Tap None.
Tap Yes, remove.
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
