Setting up my mobile phone for MMS
Want to set up your mobile phone for MMS? Follow these easy instructions.

1. Find "MMS"
Please note that if you have a Prepaid service with Optus you may not be able to access data and MMS on your BlackBerry device. Check this page for details.
Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.
Tap Text Messages.

Tap the dots in the bottom right corner of the display.
Tap Settings.
Tap Text Messages.
Tap MMS.
2. Turn delivery reports on or off
Tap the indicator next to Confirm Delivery to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on delivery reports, you'll be notified when your message has been delivered. This requires that sending of delivery reports has been turned on by the recipient.
3. Select setting for receiving MMS
Tap Auto Retrieval Mode.
If you select Always, you'll receive all MMS.
If you select Never, you won't receive any MMS.
If you select Home Only, you'll only receive MMS when you're within range of your home network.
If you select Never, you won't receive any MMS.
If you select Home Only, you'll only receive MMS when you're within range of your home network.
Tap Home Only.
If you select Always, you'll receive all MMS.

4. Edit data connection
Tap Advanced.
5. Enter APN
Tap the field below APN.
Key in MMS
Key in MMS
An APN (Access Point Name) is used to establish a data connection. In order to send and receive MMS, your mobile phone needs a data connection
6. Enter MMS server
Tap the field below MMSC URL and key in http://mmsc.optus.com.au:8002/
7. Enter IP address
Tap the field below Proxy URL and key in 61.88.190.10
8. Save data connection
Tap Save.
9. Exit
Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your mobile phone to return to standby mode.
