How to
Writing text on my mobile phone
Want to learn how to write text, such as notes or messages? There are various ways of writing text. Follow these easy instructions.


You can select a number of settings when keying in text.
The following steps show you how to change writing language, turn on word suggestion and write text.
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap Settings.
Tap Language and Input.
Tap Input Languages.
Tap the indicator next to Language detection to turn off the function.
Tap Add/Remove Languages.
Tap the box next to the required language to add it.
When the box next to the language is ticked (V), it's selected.
Tap Save.
Tap Back.
Tap On-Screen Keyboard.
Tap the drop down list below Portrait Mode or the drop down list below Landscape Mode.
Tap In-Column or In-Letter.
Tap Back.
Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your mobile phone to return to standby mode.
The following steps require that you're writing text and that the keypad is visible.
Tap and hold the language icon.
The language icon is only available if you've added more than one writing language.
Slide your finger to the required language to select a writing language.
The language icon is only available if you've added more than one writing language.
Tap the letter keys to key in the required word.
A number of words based on the letters you've keyed in are displayed.

Tap and drag the required word upwards to insert it.
The language icon is only available if you've added more than one writing language.
Tap ?123.
If required, tap &% to see more symbols.
Tap the required numbers or the required symbols.
Tap ABC to return to text input.
