Activating a BlackBerry ID on my mobile phone
If you want to use BlackBerry services (such as BlackBerry App World, BlackBerry Protect and BlackBerry Messenger), you need to activate a BlackBerry ID on your mobile phone. It's easy, but you need to set up your mobile phone for internet before you can use this function.

1. Find "BlackBerry ID"
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Press Settings.

Tap BlackBerry ID.
2. Start activation
Tap Sign In.
To create a new account: tap Create New. Follow the instructions on the display to create a new account.
3. Enter email address
Tap Email Address and key in the email address for your BlackBerry ID.
4. Enter password
Tap the field below Password and key in the password for your BlackBerry ID.
5. Activate account
Tap Submit.
Wait a moment while your BlackBerry ID is activated.

6. Exit
Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your mobile phone to return to standby mode.
