Using tethering on my mobile phone
Want to use your mobile phone to establish an internet connection from a laptop or desktop? It's called tethering. It's easy, but you need to set up your mobile phone for internet before you can use this function.

1. Install BlackBerry Link
Go to http://worldwide.blackberry.com on your computer.

2. Select USB connection setting
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap Settings.
Tap Settings.
Tap Storage and Access.
Tap USB Connections.
Tap Connect to Windows or Connect to Mac depending on the operating system on your computer.
Tap Back.
Tap Network Connections.
Tap Internet Tethering.
If it's the first time you use tethering:
Follow the instructions on the display to establish a USB connection to the computer.
If it's the first time you use tethering:
Follow the instructions on the display to establish a USB connection to the computer.
If you've used tethering before:
Tap Connect using.
Tap Connect using.
Tap USB.
3. Connect mobile phone and computer
Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to the computer's USB port.
4. Turn on tethering
Tap the indicator next to Internet Tethering to turn on tethering.
An internet connection from the computer via your mobile phone is established.
