Changing the phone lock code for my mobile phone
If you want to prevent others from accessing the contents of your mobile phone (such as pictures and messages), you need to turn on the phone lock code. Once done, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your mobile phone.
Please note: the phone lock code doesn't protect your mobile phone against unauthorised use. Your SIM is protected by turning on your PIN.

1. Find "Change Device Password"
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
Tap Settings.
Tap Settings.
Tap Security and Privacy.
Tap Device Password.
Tap Change Device Password.
2. Change the phone lock code
Key in the current phone lock code and tap OK.
Tap Password and key in a new phone lock code.
Tap Confirm password and key in the new phone lock code again.
Tap OK.
3. Exit
Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your mobile phone to return to standby mode.
