How to

Choosing Bluetooth settings for my mobile phone

Want to select Bluetooth settings? Follow these easy instructions.


List view

1. Find "Bluetooth Connections"

Tap the Menu key twice.
Tap Options.
Tap Networks and Connections.
Tap Bluetooth Connections.

2. Turn on Bluetooth

Tap Bluetooth.
Tap On.

3. Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Tap Discoverable.
If you select 2 Minutes, Bluetooth visibility is automatically turned off after two minutes.
Tap No, 2 Minutes or Yes.
If you select 2 Minutes, Bluetooth visibility is automatically turned off after two minutes.

4. Select settings

Tap the Menu key.
Tap Options.
Tap one of the following options:
Device Name, go to 4a.
Allow Outgoing Calls, go to 4b.
Contacts Transfer, go to 4c.
LED Connection Indicator, go to 4d.
Encryption, go to 4e.
Connect On Power Up, go to 4f.

5. 4a - "Device Name"

Tap Delete to delete the current name.
Key in the required name.

6. 4b - "Allow Outgoing Calls"

Tap the required setting.

7. 4c - "Contacts Transfer"

Tap the required setting.

8. 4d - "LED Connection Indicator"

Tap the menu item to turn the function on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

9. 4e - "Encryption"

Tap the menu item to turn the function on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

10. 4f - "Connect On Power Up"

Tap the menu item to turn the function on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

11. Save and exit

Tap the Menu key.
Tap Save.
Tap Disconnect.
Tap the Return key to return to standby mode.
