How to

Creating a contact for my mobile phone

Want to create a new contact? Follow these easy instructions.


List view

1. Find "New Contact"

Tap the Menu key twice.
Tap Contacts.
Tap New Contact.

2. Enter name

Tap the field next to First and key in the required first name.
Tap the field next to Last and key in the required last name.

3. Enter email address

Tap the field next to Email.
Key in the required email address.

4. Enter phone number

Tap the drop down list below Phone Numbers.
Always begin phone numbers with a + followed by the country code, even for local phone numbers. This ensures the phone numbers can be called even when you're abroad.

Tap the field below Phone Numbers.
Key in the required phone number.

5. Add more information

You can add more information to the contact. The following steps show two examples.
Choose one of the following options:
Assign picture, go to 5a.
Assign ringtone, go to 5b.

6. 5a - Assign picture

Tap the picture icon.
To use a saved picture:
Tap the required folder.
Tap the required picture.
To take a new picture:
Tap Camera.
Point the camera lens at the required object and tap the camera icon to take the picture.
Drag the frame to the required position to select the required section.
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Crop & Save.

7. 5b - Assign ringtone

Tap Phone below Custom Ring Tones/Alerts.
Tap Ringtone.
Tap the required ringtone.
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Save.

8. Save and exit

Tap the Menu key.
Tap Save.
Tap Disconnect.
Tap the Return key to return to standby mode.
