Using tethering on my mobile phone
Want to use your mobile phone to establish an internet connection from a laptop or desktop? It's called tethering. It's easy, but remember you need to set up your mobile phone for internet before you can use this function.
List view
Connect mobile phone and computer
Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.
Find "Tethering & mobile hotspot"
Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap More.
Tap Tethering & mobile hotspot.
Turn on tethering
Tap USB tethering to turn on the function. An internet connection from your computer via your mobile phone is automatically established.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap More.
Tap Tethering & mobile hotspot.
Tap USB tethering to turn on the function. An internet connection from your computer via your mobile phone is automatically established.
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
