I can't send and receive SMS

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 2:

The message centre number is incorrect: Enter the correct message centre number.

List view

1. 1. Find "Advanced"

Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.
Tap Text Messages.
Tap the dots.
Tap Settings.
Tap Text Messages.
Tap Advanced.

2. 2. Enter the message centre number

Tap the field below "Service Centre Address" and key in +61411990001

3. 3. Select data bearer

Tap the drop down list below "Routing Preference".
Tap Circuit Switched Preferred.

4. 4. Select message type

Tap the drop down list below "Send Text-Only Messages as".
Tap SMS.

5. 5. Save settings

Tap Save.

6. 6. Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom edge of the display to return to the home screen.
