I can't use tethering on my mobile phone
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.
Possible cause 1:
Your computer and phone haven't been set up for tethering correctly: Set up your mobile phone and computer for tethering.

2. 2. Select USB connection setting
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top edge of the display.
Tap Settings.

Tap USB Connections.
Tap Connect to Windows or Connect to Mac depending on the operating system on your computer.
Tap the return icon.

Tap Internet Tethering.

3. 3. Connect mobile phone and computer
Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to your computer's USB port.
4. 4. Turn on tethering
Tap the indicator next to "Internet Tethering" until the function is turned on.
