Select settings for voice dialing
Want to select voice control settings? Follow these easy instructions.
List view
1. Find "BlackBerry Assistant"
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top edge of the display.
Tap Settings.
Tap Settings.
Tap BlackBerry Assistant.
2. Select voice control settings
The following steps describe how you:
Select language
Turn on voice control
Turn display of offensive words on or off
Turn Voice control key activation on or off
Turn activation above the lock on or off
Turn voice feedback on or off
Select language

3. Select language
Tap Languages.
Tap the required language.
4. Turn on voice control
Tap the indicator next to "Full Assistance" until the function is turned on.
5. Turn Voice control key activation on or off
Tap the indicator next to "Activate with Mute Key" to turn the function on or off.
6. Turn activation above the lock on or off
Tap the indicator next to "Enable Above The Lock" to turn the function on or off.
7. Turn display of offensive words on or off
Tap the indicator next to "Censor Offensive Words" to turn the function on or off.
8. Turn voice feedback on or off
Tap Voice Response.
You can select if your mobile phone should give voice feedback on your voice commands depending on if the headset is connected or not.
Tap On, Off or With Bluetooth Device Only.

9. Return to the home screen
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom edge of the display to return to the home screen.
