I can't update the software on my Apple Watch

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 2:

Wi-Fi is turned off: Turn on Wi-Fi on both your mobile phone and Apple Watch.

List view

1. Find "Wi-Fi"

Tap the Digital Crown.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Wi-Fi.

2. Turn Wi-Fi on or off

Tap the indicator next to "Wi-Fi" to turn the function on or off.

3. Return to the home screen

Tap the Digital Crown several times to return to the home screen.
