The language is set according to the phone language. Alternatively, you can select another Apple Watch language for when your Apple Watch isn't connected to your mobile phone.
List view
Find "Watch Language"
On your mobile phone: Tap Watch.
On your mobile phone: Tap My Watch.
On your mobile phone: Tap General.
On your mobile phone: Tap Language & Region.
On your mobile phone: Tap Custom.
On your mobile phone: Tap Watch Language.
Choose language
On your mobile phone: Tap the required language.
On your mobile phone: Tap Change to ‹language›.
