Turn on the message tone.

5. Once you've found a message tone you like, tap Sounds.

6. Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.

Possible cause 1:

The message tone has been turned off

Solution:

Turn on the message tone.

Find "Text Tone"

Tap Settings.

Tap Sounds.

Tap Text Tone.

Select a message tone

Tap the different message tones to hear them.

Once you've found a message tone you like, tap Sounds.

Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
