Selecting settings for voice control on my mobile phone (Siri)

Want to select voice control settings? Follow these easy instructions.


List view

1. Find "Siri"

Tap Settings.
Tap General.
Tap Siri.

2. Turn on voice control

Tap the indicator next to "Siri" until the function is turned on.
Tap Enable Siri.

3. Select settings

The following steps describe how you:
Select language
Turn voice feedback on or off
Select mobile phone owner
Turn automatic activation on or off

4. Select language

Tap Language.
Tap the required language.
Tap Siri.

5. Turn voice feedback on or off

Tap Voice Feedback.
Tap Handsfree Only or Always.
Tap Siri.

6. Select mobile phone owner

Tap My Info.
When you select yourself as the owner of the mobile phone, your mobile phone uses your information for different voice control functions such as navigation to your home address. Remember, you need to create yourself as a contact in the address book.

7. Turn automatic activation on or off

Tap the indicator next to "Raise to Speak" to turn the function on or off.
If you turn on Raise to Speak, you can activate activate control by holding your mobile phone to your ear.
If you turn off Raise to Speak, you can only activate voice control by tapping and holding the Home key.

8. Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
