I can't send and receive email
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes
to help you find a solution to your problem.
Set up your mobile phone for POP3 email.

1. Tap Settings.

2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

3. Tap Add Account.

4. Tap Other.

5. Tap Add Mail Account.

6. Tap Name and key in the required sender name.

7. Tap Email and key in your email address.

8. Tap Password and key in the password for your email account.

9. Tap Description and key in the password for your email account.

10. Tap Next.

11. If this screen is displayed, you email account has been recognised and set up automatically. Follow the instructions on the screen to key in more information and finish setting up your mobile phone.

12. Tap POP.

13. Tap Host Name and key in the name your email provider's incoming server. If Optus is your email provider, key in mail.optusnet.com.au as your incoming server.

14. Tap Username and key in the username for your email account.

15. Tap Host Name and key in smtp.optusnet.com.au.

16. Tap Save.

17. Tap Fetch New Data.

18. Tap the indicator next to "Push" to turn the function on or off.

19. If you turn off the function, tap the required setting.

20. Tap Mail....

21. Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Possible cause 2:
Your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up for POP3 email
Solution:
Set up your mobile phone for POP3 email.
