Making a video call on my mobile phone (FaceTime)
Want to make a video call to another device which supports FaceTime? The video call can be made using either the mobile network or a Wi-Fi network. Follow these easy instructions.
Tap Settings.
Tap FaceTime.
Tap the indicator next to FaceTime to turn on the function.
If you've not yet logged on with your Apple ID:
Tap Use your Apple ID for FaceTime.
Follow the instructions on the display to log on.
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
Tap Utilities.
Remember, you need to activate data connections before you can make a video call using the mobile network.
Tap Contacts.
Remember, you need to activate data connections before you can make a video call using the mobile network.
Tap the required contact.
The contact details are displayed.

Tap FaceTime.
Remember, you need to activate data connections before you can make a video call using the mobile network.
Tap the required number or the required email address.

When you have an active video call, you can select the following options:
Mute or unmute the microphone, go to 4a.
Change camera, go to 4b.
Tap the microphone icon.
Depending on the current setting, the microphone is muted or unmuted.
Tap the camera icon.
Depending on the current setting the interior or the exterior camera is turned on.
Tap End to end the call.
Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
