Using map functions in Google Maps

Want to use the map functions in Google Maps? Follow these easy instructions.


List view

1. Find "Maps"

Tap Maps.

2. Find destination

Tap Search.
Tap Search or Address.
Key in the required destination and tap Search.
The selected destination is displayed as a point on the map.
The information field, containing name and address of the destination, is displayed above the destination.

3. Use Google Maps

Follow the steps below to view your options while using Google Maps.

4. Save preferred location

Tap arrow right.
Tap Add to Bookmarks.
Edit the name of the location and tap Save.
Tap Map to return to the map.

5. Plan route to destination

Tap arrow right.
Tap Directions To Here.
Tap Route.
Tap the required mode of transportation next to Start.
Tap Start.

6. Use zoom

Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.

7. Exit

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
