Using tethering on my tablet
Want to use your tablet to establish an internet connection from a laptop or desktop? It's called tethering. It's easy, but remember you need to set up your tablet for internet before you can use this function.

Connect tablet and computer
Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.
Before you connect your tablet and computer, you need to install iTunes on your computer.
Find "Personal Hotspot"
Tap Settings.
Tap Personal Hotspot.
Turn on tethering
Tap the indicator next to "Personal Hotspot" to turn on the function.
Tap Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. An internet connection from your computer via your tablet is automatically established.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
Tap Settings.
Tap Personal Hotspot.
Tap the indicator next to "Personal Hotspot" to turn on the function.
Tap Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. An internet connection from your computer via your tablet is automatically established.
