The touch screen on my tablet isn't responding

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes to help you find a solution to your problem.

Possible cause 1:

Screen lock is turned on: Turn off screen lock.

1. 1. Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Turn key lock on or off, go to 1a.
Select setting for automatic key lock, go to 1b.

2. 2. 1a - Turn key lock on or off

To turn on the key lock:
Briefly tap On/Off.

To turn off the key lock:
Briefly tap On/Off.

Drag the arrow right.

3. 3. 1b - Select setting for automatic key lock

Tap Settings.

Tap General.

Tap Auto-Lock.

To turn on automatic key lock:
Tap the required interval.

To turn off automatic key lock:
Tap Never.

Tap the Home key to return to standby mode.
