I can't send and receive email

This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes
to help you find a solution to your problem.


Set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.

Possible cause 2:

Your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up for Exchange email

Solution:

Set up your mobile phone for Exchange email.

Find "Accounts"
Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Accounts.
Create new email account
Tap Add account.
Tap Corporate.
Enter email address
Tap Email address and key in your email address.
Tap Next.
Enter password
Tap Password and key in the password for your email account.
Turn SSL encryption on or off
If you turn on the function, tap Select and follow the instructions on the screen to install the required certificate.
Tap Next.
Enter username
Tap the field below "Username" and key in the username.
Select server address
Tap the field below "Server" and key in the server address.
Enter port number
Tap the field below "Port" and key in the required port number.
Turn SSL encryption on or off
Tap the drop down list next to "Security type".
Tap the required setting to turn the function on or off.
Tap Next.
Select setting for retrieval of new email
Tap the drop down list next to "Sync frequency".
Tap the required setting.
Select period for email synchronisation
Tap the drop down list next to "Sync emails from".
Tap the required setting.
Select notification for new email
Tap the field next to "Notify me when email arrives".
Tap Next.
Enter account name
Tap the field below "Give this account a name" and key in the required name.
Tap Finish.
Enter sender name
Tap the field below "Your name" and key in the required sender name.
Finish setup
Tap OK.
Return to the home screen
Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
