Set up your mobile phone for MMS
An MMS is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones. You can send and receive MMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your mobile phone for MMS manually.
List view
Find "Data accounts"
Tap the Navigation key.
Select Settings.
Select Connectivity.
Select Data accounts.
Create new data connection
Tap the Left selection key.
Select Add PS account.
Highlight the field below "Account name" and key in Optus MMS.

Enter APN
Highlight the field below "APN" and key in mms.

Select authentication type
Highlight the field below "Auth. type".
Tap Navigation key right or Navigation key left to select Normal.
Select MMS server
Select Advanced settings.
Highlight the field below "Homepage" and key in http://mmsc.optus.com.au:8002/.

Select connection type
Highlight the field below "Connection type".
Tap Navigation key right or Navigation key left to select HTTP.
Turn on use of proxy
Highlight the field below "Use proxy".
Tap Navigation key right or Navigation key left to select Yes.
Enter IP address
Highlight the field below "Proxy address" and key in 061.088.190.010.

Enter port number
Highlight the field below "Proxy port" and key in 8070.

Save data connection
Tap the Right selection key.
Return to the home screen
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
Find "Data account"
Tap the Navigation key.
Select Messages.
Select Settings.
Select MMS settings.
Select Data account.
Activate data connection
Highlight the required data connection.
Tap the Left selection key.
Return to the home screen
Tap Disconnect to return to the home screen.
